Istanbul-based Ece Özel takes to the decks at J1 with one goal: to make you dance. She has earned a reputation as a versatile DJ with a deep understanding of dance music’s outer fringes. Her mystifying, unpredictable, and always fresh sounds evolve into distinctive, dark yet somehow shiny journeys.
As one half of the Istanbul-based independent label Müstesna Records, she continues to shed light on both contemporary and past Turkish electronic music scenes. Ece Özel has garnered attention from international platforms such as Dekmantel and Boiler Room, and has performed at festivals and clubs including Renate, Golden Pudel, Salon Des Amateurs, Sameheads, Kaiku, Garage Noord, Rive Rouge, FOLD, and many more.
Joining her will be our resident artists; Kovvalsky and Olivia, who are simply the best, blending futuristic techno with concrete-clad industrial, surging EBM, metallic Italo, and robotic new wave.
