Shadows is the clubnight run by our resident MKO, previously responsible for the dype series of events, and also a member of the SLAP collective. The enigmatically named event is a total exploration of the genre of techno, along with all of its various sub-genres, spanning from deep/dub techno, classic sounds of Detroit to groovy uptempo beats.
This edition will bring us super skilled DJ and producer, Setaoc Mass, who is an essential voice in techno and electronic music today. As a DJ and producer Setaoc Mass is part of a select cut of artists who’s been absorbing techno’s legacy for the last 15 years, whilst carrying the torch into tomorrow. As a selector, the Mancunian’s DJ sets pull from an expansive spectrum of material, both new and old. Whilst overseeing his own imprint SK_eleven, his sound identity pushes a galvanising brand of techno steeped in a sense of urgency ever-propulsive, with acute detailing and nods to a futuristic space-age. Support on the Main room by our residents – PAWEL and MKO. Bar room will be taken over by young blood – Edvvin and Wencel.
